Here we are again, exchanging sadness and disbelief. Where has our faith gone? Perhaps the time we’ve spent apart, revealed how little I meant to you. How you keep on chasing dreams without me in it. While I, live each day for the both of us.

You asked me to make the sacrifice, and I did. Believing that you’d come back, that one day you’d realize that this is the “sure thing” that you’ve always spoken of. But now it feels more like it has become more of a safety, a fall back, a plan B when things don’t work out for you.

I’ll just sit here and wait.
